What a great weekend for Michigan sports fans !!!Who needs college football to have fun ?
- Women's Basketball beats NC State in ACC/B10 challenge.
- Volleyball upsets #13 St. Louis and heads to the NCAA sweet 16.
- Hockey team sweeps Sparty.
- AND the Men's Basketball stuns #4 ranked Duke.
I never really liked the "It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine..." chant, but it is appropriate after this weekend.

I am not sure if you are aware of the origin of the "It's great to be a Michigan wolverine" chant. The band chants this (and other things) as they march out of stadium after they complete the band show after each home football game. I usually stay for the band show and do not leave the stadium until the band is off the field and into the tunnel.
I totally missed the Duke game. In my rampant boredom Saturday I never checked the guide to see what else was on. Pity.

had it on the tv when I was putting up my Christmas tree, it was nice...
dare I get excited over Michigan hoops?
I was putting up the tree during the Army Navy game and I think I almost fell asleep. Was disappointed in CBS lack of pregame coverage. Oh well.
It is not up there yet, but give it a couple of days and I am sure the Duke game will be on MGOVIDEO.COM
That was a sweet moment this weekend! And it is ALWAYS great to be a Michigan Wolverine!
