That is all.
Cue the Gopher (HT: BAH)
Ok, ok. Here are the sad facts. Minnesota allows an average of 132.5 yards rushing per game this season and 230.3 yards thru the air each game. We have averaged 138.6 yards per game via ground shipping (HT:BAH) and 149.4 yds/game thru the air.
Seriously, I think that there can only be one history-making, earth-shattering triumph of hope this week---and, well, this game ain't it.
And now, for something completely different...

- Some blotter acid: Stonum drives drunk.
- Urban Meyer does the right thing: Jacques Robinson is a pussy.
- Joel Foreman, offensive guard for Sparty did not start last week against Wisconsin because he did not wear a tie on Game Day.....
- Ryan Leaf, QB coach for West Texas A&M, and former 2nd pick overall in the 1998 draft (behind Peyton Manning) out of Washington State, has been placed on indefinite leave per his request due to personal issues.......you may remember the drama-trauma that was his stint in the NFL
- The axe falls for Prince at KState. And the rush for the door at Tennessee begins....

Speaking of drama, you're missing the Ray Small suspension aka "family values" debate over at tOSU.
ESPN reported that Leaf asked a player for a "pain pill" and thus was asked to leave. Not that he asked to leave himself. ESPN has been known to spin things though.
What's the over under on passes over 5 yards for the MInnesota game? Personally I hope Feagin sees playing time at QB. At this point what is there to lose? Minnesota will dismantle the secondary and probably score 40 on us. We will be lucky to score 10 unless Minor and Mcguffie have huge games. That being said there's a good chance Sheridone throws more TD passes to MInnesota then he does to Wolverines.
Whets,
you are correct that the Ray Small story is very "family drama". he was Boeckman's favorite target, but Prior can't seem to find him. he wanted released this spring, but Tre$$el insisted he stay 'cause tosu had big plans for him. and now his dad is mouthing off to the press about his son's unfair treatment.
almost as much family values as justin boren going to a halloween party as R2, drinking underage, and hanging out w/ a playboy bunny wannabe- but i digress.
Who's shocked?
Not I.
"...drinking underage, and hanging out w/ a playboy bunny wannabe- but i digress."
SiC,
You just described every collegiate football player in America except for 50% of BYU's guys.
J.B. doing Halloween as RR is priceless.
whets,
agreed- it's very funny.
and yes, that's all college players except for half of BYU's team.
however, all college players (and half of BYU's) don't go Murphy Brown/Dan Quayle and mouth off about the importance of family values, do they?
let me say w/ out reservation that i'm all for a budlight and a blonde in a bunny suit for halloween. i don't however try to tell people that i'm all about family values, either.
"i don't however try to tell people that i'm all about family values, either."
You can't. You are an attorney. Everyone would laugh.
well said, whets, well said.
just remember behind every lawyer there's a very immoral non lawyer looking to get rich.
preferably a slutty blonde in a bunny suit.
